About Us
Tamilnadu and Pondicherry Chartered Accountants Association (TAPCAA) is a State Level Association formed in order to cater the needs of Chartered Accountants in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry. TAPCAA was inaugurated on 14th June, 2016 at Trichy.

There are branches of ICAI across the country and the branches escalate the concerns of members to the Region & Central offices. ICAI is our parent body, which is a quasi-govt organisation which regulates the profession & its members. There are certain restrictions in conveying the problems faced by the CAs and the apprehension of the CAs to the State and Central Governments through ICAI.
This does not limit the CAs to voice out for the common cause of the profession. Also, regional issues have to be represented at the appropriate forums. Keeping this in mind, Associations are formed at State level for the benefit of the CAs. TAPCAA believes to act as an impactful organization in achieving the aforesaid objects.
TAPCAA stands by its core principles – integrity, responsibility and teamwork.
Some of the objectives of the Association are given hereunder:
- To create a platform to its members for mutual exchange of professional knowledge.
- To update its members of the changes in the various Acts and Laws & to publish periodical newsletters for updating and enhancing the knowledge quotient of CAs.
- To conduct brainstorming Seminars and Meetings to keep abreast the dynamic changes in various Acts and Laws.
- To represent before the appropriate authorities regarding any simplification & rationalization of various Acts and Laws.
- To help the tax payers to resolve their tax / finance related queries and to educate them regarding tax laws by conducting interactive meetings.
- To serve for the development of CA profession by conducting career counselling sessions and other informative sessions for aspiring students at high schools & colleges across the State.
- To work in tandem with associations of similar nature or purpose, across the country so as to achieve the objectives in an effective manner.
